Aliza and Kirk | Renaissance Hotel Wedding
Reflecting back on the wedding day
Can I say that I am absolutely enamored with Aliza and Kirk’s family and friends. They were so kind and joyful that it was infectious. Everyone seemed to be all smiles, not just a regular smile, like the kind that makes your cheeks hurt! How they kept that up all day – impressed me! This was also my first time photographing a wedding at Renaissance Hotel! I cannot wait to have the opportunity to visit this wedding venue again!

The bride and groom decided to get ready at their wedding venue, The Renaissance Hotel, in downtown Pittsburgh.
I loved how guests were seated as if they were in your living room. There were couches, overstuffed chairs, and side tables for your beverages. It brought a more family oriented vibe to the nuptials which I adored.
This is such a neat and fun idea! Find a lock, make it personal by engraving your names and wedding date and then lock it onto the 6th street bridge (Roberto Clemente Bridge) and toss the key!
One thing I absolutely love about downtown Pittsburgh weddings, is the amount of photo opportunities you have within walking distance of each other.
One thing was true about the reception for Aliza and Kirk – everyone knew how to have a good time! There were so many people on the dance floor by the time I left that they poured into the dining area of the room.
