Interview with the Bride
Maria: How long was your engagement with Sal? Do you feel it was long enough to plan your wedding?
Monique: Sal and I were engaged for a year and a half. Being that we are not originally from Florida, and most of our guests had to travel by plane to attend our wedding, we wanted to give everyone at least a years notice. It was definitely enough time to plan all the details of our wedding day, and it also gave us time to enjoy our engagement.
Maria: Why did you choose Marco Island Marriott as your venue?
Monique: We chose the Marco Island Marriott as our venue for our wedding because we fell in love with the resort from the first moment we arrived. The property is absolutely stunning and every other venue we had seen did not compare.
Maria: What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
Monique: Our favorite moment from our wedding day was seeing each other in church for the first time.
Maria: What was the biggest obstacle you faced while planning your wedding day or on the wedding day?
Monique: To be completely honest, I can’t say there were any significant obstacles through out the planning process or on our wedding day. The Marriott and all of our vendors made the planning process so easy and enjoyable.
Maria: Is there anything you would change, looking back at your wedding day?
Monique: Looking back on our wedding day, I would not change a thing. The week of the wedding a cold front came in and I was so worried about it not being warm enough to be outside. However, the Marriott provided heat lamps to keep everyone warm and they looked great too!
