A Sunset White Orchid at Oasis Wedding
Ft. Myers, Florida
Bea and I had a blast at Aaron and Jaime’s White Orchid at Oasis Wedding as we always do since every one of our clients are simply amazing and quite hilarious. 🙂 The day started at the house of one of the groomsmen for getting ready, unfortunately the groom was running late and we had to jet off to see the bride before our time with her ran out, however we were able to get in a few laughs with the groomsmen and even take a photo or two while awaiting the groom’s arrival. Once we got to the White Orchid, we quickly started to photograph the beautiful details for the bride such as the dress, shoes, garter, and jewelry. As soon as we were finished, we quickly heard that the groom and the groomsmen were approaching by boat so Bea and I ran down to the dock to document the grand arrival. Unfortunately, the boat quickly stopped as there was not enough water for it to get close enough to the dock for the groom to depart, meaning the reveal or first look may be delayed a bit if they cannot find a way to dock the boat.
The guys found a dock nearby and had to walk the rest of the way back to the venue in the Florida heat, this of course made for some hilarious candids as a few of them stormed into the room where the girls were getting ready so that they could access the portable air conditioner (Historic Home) in the corner of the room. As they were undressing and intimately hugging the 4 foot by 3 foot device, I of course had to take a few photos for the bride and groom as it was a memorable moment for sure.
From there it was a whirlwind of emotions, laughter, excitement, and great music! Congratulations to Aaron and Jaime and it was a sincere pleasure being chosen to document such a free spirited bunch on such a special occasion! Wishing you many hugs and warm wishes towards your future together as husband and wife!!
