Reflecting back

Reflecting back on the engagement session

Had an amazing time photographing Amanda and Jordan for their Schenley Park Fall engagement session. We had trouble finding fall foliage until I stumbled on a small parking lot within Schenley Park. The parking lot had a small strip of trees which were vibrant in orange and yellow hues. Thinking outside of the box, I angled myself appropriately to ensure we did not capture too much of the street traffic or the vehicles parked in the parking lot. It is safe to say, we were quite successful as the images turned out amazing! I absolutely loved how connected these two were during the session. We were able to capture such natural emotions between the two which, of course, gets me so excited for their wedding day! Congrats to Jordan and Amanda!

ATTEMPT #1

We had a lot of fun trying to incorporate our naturally available prop of fall leaves. Amanda, the bride to be, was not expecting the leaves to land on her head and immediately tried fixing her hair. It had us laughing so hard!

ATTEMPT #2

So this was our second attempt. We did the leaf throwing trick again, this time Amanda was ready for it and the photos turned out great!
