Interview with the Bride….

Maria: How long was your engagement? Do you feel that was enough time to plan all of the details of your wedding day?

Julie: We were engaged for about 1 1/2 years. I thought that was a good amount of time so I could do all of the details I wanted to do.

Maria: Why did you choose the Priory for your reception venue?

Julie: We loved the intricacy of the ballroom and the feel of the rooms, which was vintage boutique. It was gorgeous in itself with the stained glass windows and sacristy. We were very happy with it.

Maria: What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?

Julie: My favorite moment was watching everyone’s reaction to our reception intro video and doing or first dance. We took 6 weeks of lessons and were excited to do it.

Maria: What was the biggest obstacle you faced while planning your wedding or on the wedding day?

Julie: Communication was the hardest with vendors. The priory went through a couple catering managers until we worked with Sara Lynn, who was awesome.

Maria: Is there anything you would change, looking back at your wedding day?

Julie: I would have made the bird cage lighter so the flower girl would have wanted to carry it.

Maria: Any advice to future brides while they plan their wedding?

Julie: Try not to stress too much about the details – it will end up being a good day.
