Interview with the Bride…

Mindi: We chose Liberty United Methodist Church because Eric grew up going to church here and also both of his brothers got married here. His mom is very involved with the church and after meeting with the Pastor several times we knew she was the perfect fit for us.

Mindi: We chose Lone Pine Country Club after an extensive search! They have a phenomenal chef and event coordinator. They were also going through a remodel that would be finished in time for our big day. It was like a little hidden gem, and it turned out to be perfect for us.

Mindi: Yes! My harpist double booked me. She had arranged another harpist who also fell through as well. I ended up finding another one, luckily, but without doing my usual extensive research on her because I felt so frustrated. I also had to go about finding another florist when my original choice made me aware that she could not place fresh flowers on my cake.

Mindi: Everything was perfect, a dream actually. ( except a minor incident with the harpist that I’d like to forget about:) Everything seemed to fall in place perfectly!

Mindi: Honestly no. It was the best day of my life! I know I will be thinking about it for years to come. The planning was so stressful at times, but as I look back now, I see that it was all worth it.

Mindi: I have to say as soon as the doors opened in the church and Eric looked down the aisle at me. The church was full but he was the only one I saw. It was such a special feeling and at that point it was like all the stress had disappeared. I will never forget it.

Mindi: I overthink EVERYTHING and make a huge deal out of every single detail. I’m so happy with how everything turned out, but I wish I would’ve enjoyed it more. Have fun with your planning, and try not to make it like a job!
