Interview with the Bride…

Maria: Why did you choose your ceremony venue?

Vittoria: The church is a place that I grew up in and I always envisioned myself getting married there one day. It’s such a beautiful cathedral style church that I have always loved.

Maria: Did you choose your reception venue?

Vittoria: Through our search of venues, we were looking for something that wasn’t your typical banquet hall. Southpointe was such a beautiful more personal place that we instantly fell in love with. The scenery was perfect with what we were looking for. With Bobby’s love for golf, the balcony over the 18th hole really caught both of our eyes.

Maria: Were there any obstacles while planning your wedding?

Vittoria: Bobby and I have different work schedules and we also work a lot. So it was harder to try to plan things and pressure to meet deadlines within the 9 months we were engaged. We did our best to work together though, and all in all we feel like it was a big accomplishment to plan everything so quickly

Maria: Did everything go as planned on your wedding day?

Vittoria: One of the main routes to get to our reception was closed for construction, so we arrived to our reception hall a little later then we wanted to. This threw off some of the picture and mingling time. However, we were able to have our cocktail hour last a little longer, and we were able to fit in pictures on the golf course.

Maria: Looking back on your wedding day, is there anything you would have done differently?

Vittoria: We would probably have a bit smaller wedding. It was hard to try and see everyone. We really appreciated everyone that came to celebrate with us and wanted to share our time with them all.

Maria: Your favorite wedding day moment?

Vittoria: My favorite time was seeing Bobby down the aisle for the first time. He waved at me and smiled as I was walking down. The happiness and love for him I felt was so overwhelming, it’s a feeling and memory I will never forget.

Maria: Any advice or tips to give to a Bride-To-Be?

Vittoria: Take time out of the reception and spend a quiet moment with your husband. The day goes by so fast and there will be times where you will lose each other in the crowd of the reception. It slows everything down a bit and you both can breathe and enjoy each other as husband and wife.
